ExhibitPack

Terms of Use

Plain language, because this matters. These are the terms you agree to when you use ExhibitPack.

1. What ExhibitPack is

ExhibitPack is a self-help evidence-organization tool. It helps you organize and summarize the evidence and information you provide into a chronology, an exhibit index, and a packet you can use yourself or hand to a professional. You are representing yourself. By creating an account you agree to these Terms.

2. What ExhibitPack is not

ExhibitPack is not a law firm and is not your attorney. It does not and cannot give legal advice, legal opinions, or recommendations about your legal rights, remedies, options, which forms to file, or legal strategy, and it does not predict outcomes. It does not select forms for you or apply the law to your facts.

3. No attorney-client relationship; we don't provide attorneys

Using ExhibitPack does not create an attorney-client relationship, and your information is not protected by the attorney-client privilege or the work-product doctrine. ExhibitPack does not provide, employ, or supervise attorneys. Any review we offer is an organizing review only — never legal advice. If we point you to independent attorney or referral services, those are independent professionals not affiliated with ExhibitPack, and we are not responsible for their work.

4. We organize at your direction

ExhibitPack completes and assembles materials only from what you provide and at your direction. Court forms and procedures referenced are general published information; verify everything against your court's current forms and rules. “Attorney-ready” describes a clean, organized, source-traceable file — not that an attorney reviewed it or that it is legally sufficient.

5. Your account & responsibilities

Keep your login secure; you're responsible for activity under your account. Provide accurate information and only upload evidence you have the right to use. Keep your own copies of anything important — we may delete data and you can delete yours at any time. One account per person; you must be 18+.

6. Acceptable use

Don't use ExhibitPack for anything unlawful, to harass or harm others, to upload others' private data without a lawful basis, or to attack, scrape, overload, or reverse-engineer the service. We may suspend or terminate accounts that do.

7. Payments, refunds & cancellation

Building and exporting your packet is free. The optional Guided review is a paid service at the price shown at checkout, charged through our payment processor. If you bought a Guided review and we have not started it, email us within 14 days for a full refund. Once review work has begun, refunds are prorated at our reasonable discretion. You can stop using ExhibitPack and delete your account at any time; the free tier carries no charge.

8. How we keep within these limits

Extraction is grounded in your own evidence with source citations, and an automated guardrail checks AI output and blocks anything that would amount to legal advice. When you ask a question, we answer only from your packet and decline anything that calls for a lawyer.

9. “As is”; no warranties; limitation of liability

ExhibitPack is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and that results are accurate or legally sufficient. AI can make mistakes — review everything against your sources before relying on it. To the fullest extent permitted by law, ExhibitPack and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any lost case, deadline, or opportunity; and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or US$100, whichever is greater.

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend and indemnify ExhibitPack and its operators against claims arising from your use of the service or the content you upload, including any claim that your content infringes a right or violates a law.

11. Changes & termination

We may update these Terms; if we make a material change we'll ask you to agree again. Continued use after an update means you accept it. We may suspend or end the service or your access, and you may stop and delete your account, at any time.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts located in California.

If you need legal advice — or you're in danger

For advice about your situation, consult a licensed attorney or your court's self-help center / family law facilitator. If you are in danger, call 911 or the National Domestic Violence Hotline at 1-800-799-7233.
